How true is self-manifestation and the law of attraction?


I have read how focusing on what you want will get you what you want. The theory is like attracts like. Thoughts become things. Well I’ve also read a counter argument to the law of attraction as taught by the majority of teachers now a day stating that the law of attraction will not work if people use the techniques based on their greed and desire of money, fame, and wealth. Rather the article stated the only way self-manifestation really works if it is is used in a way to help others. I’m curious as to what exactly is your belief regarding this matter.

Working With the Universal Laws for Success!

Have you ever had thoughts like you were heading down a dead end street, trying to reach your goals? When we attempt reach massive goals it can often become a sure fire way to burn out, if we try to do it all alone. But whatever situation you might find yourself in at the beginning, unexpected obstacles will creep in and it’s how you overcome them and bounce back that ensures your ultimate success.

One very effective way to ensure your success in reaching your goals is by learning how to work in unison with the universal laws. By asking for help and believing that you will have the resources and help required, you’ll effectively eliminate a lot of the pressure that you might feel if you carry the load all by yourself.

If you turn every endeavour into a partnership effort with the universal mind, you can’t lose. By knowing how to interact with the universe by implementing the universal laws in your life, you’ll begin to manifest resources, help, knowledge and anything else you may need that otherwise was out of reach. This will then enable you to relax and “know” that all is in a divine state of grace and as it should be, and at the same time maximising your skills and moving forward efficiently.

In the book by Jerry and Esther Hicks “Ask and It is Given,” they describe an exercise called a “Placemat Process.” This process was invented by Esther through necessity, they were travelling a lot for business and Esther found herself feeling overwhelmed by everything she needed to do on a daily basis.

She worked out a basic way to divide up her duties by asking the universe for help. While she was relaxing over coffee one day, she turned over a placemat and turned it over to expose the blank side. She then took a pen, and divided the mat in two columns, in one she wrote “universe” and the other “me.”

She then listed everything she wanted to manifest from the universe in the column marked “universe,” and in the “me” column she listed what she felt comfortable working on herself. According to Esther, this exercise was extremely effective. And the universe answered every point she wrote, plus her focus was freed up to take care of her action tasks. This is indeed a very powerful partnership!

You can now utilize this exercise yourself, by taking an A4 sheet of paper and write down your action tasks, and those which you feel that you need help from the universal intelligence. What tasks feel to large for you to handle? What parts of your life and work projects are confusing or stressful at present? And what others do you know you’ll handle with no problem? Make sure you “hand write” these tasks on the paper, as the act of writing has magic in it, as opposed to typing. When you’re done, fold the paper up and store it somewhere safe.

You can do this in other ways as well if you don’t particularly like writing things down, for example you could meditate on it, or use self-talk and mental focus to bring the change about. But the best way if you can find your way clear of doing it, is to hand write these points out.

In the long term, it’s not how you list these things out that counts. The point is to gain clarity in your life, know your limits and where you need help. Plus, it also helps you to bring “focus” back into your mind, as we often move so fast in life that we skim over those beautiful little things we take for granted. So by focussing on our goals on a daily basis, we’ll positively move towards manifesting that very thought.

Done on a regular and disciplined basis, you’ll beign to make shifts in your life, which will make living much easier for you. You’ll begin to enjoy your work and life again, and you’ll attract all sorts of synchronistic events and much needed resources into your life right when you need them. This may all be beyond your understanding, but just know that this process truly does work.

Why not take advantage of this resource invoke the law of attraction and use your subconscious mind to aid in your goal setting ?

To start achieving your lifetime dreams by using goal setting, harnessing the power of your subconscious mind and invoking the law of attraction, set a quarter of a century plan, then break it down to 5 year plans then break it down again to 1 year plans, then 6 month plans then monthly plans, then weekly, then daily. Then create a things-to-do list for the day. Always review your plans and prepare for contingencies. The basics of goal setting should not be so difficult once you get to be familiar with them and with the use of subliminal recording you can readily address various areas of your life.

Happiness and Well-Being With Daily Affirmations

Desiring change in your life or setting goals is easier by far to making change happen or achieving goals you have set. This process requires determination, appropriate attitude as well as a few tools you may find handy in getting the job done. One very powerful tool is daily affirmations, permitting these changes in your life to be more empowering and positive experiences.

What is an Affirmation?

You could consider affirmations as antonyms to complaints. They are opposites, in the same sense of a complaint being, “I’m so darned tired all the time.” The affirmation sounds more like, “I’m full of energy, alive and awake.”

Any affirmation would represent goals we have, as well as any desirable changes. They’re positive statements made in the present tense. No rules apply when considering how appropriate an affirmation may be. They can be either spiritual, material or a combination of the two.
Many people just have a strong desire to feel happy. We want to hold on to this sense of well-being which is sometimes elusive. This particular desire is tested simply by our day to day challenges, difficulties, and habits which find themselves instilled within us, producing a contrary effect. We have a desire for a sense of well-being; however we actually create the opposite effect.

Daily affirmations can be helpers on the path to reaching this goal of well-being and general happiness. Listed here are some affirmations taken from Ernest Holmes’ The Science of Mind, published in 1926. .

- I am happy and complete today and forever.
Within me is that which is Perfect and Complete. It is The Spirit of all Life, Truth, and Action. I am happy in the sure knowledge of the Inner Light. I cannot be sad or sorry, but must radiate Joy and Life, For Life is within me now. I am happy and complete. .

- Perfection is already accomplished. I do not have to wait for the Perfect Life. I am that Perfect Life here and now. Today I express the Limitless Life of the All Good. Today I manifest my Completion in every part of me. Today I am saved. Here and now I am healed.
There is no need for longwinded paragraphs. Simple sentences designed specifically to uplift and inspire you are more than acceptable. For example,

- I am entirely happy in mind, spirit and body.

- I am radiant, happy and healthy.

- I am filled with light and love, a radiant being.

- I accept and love myself just as I am.

- I am now able to express love to those I meet.

Creating Personal Affirmations
What is it you want from life? This is a very difficult subject for many people to grip. If this is the case for you, ask yourself instead what it is you don’t want, and then following up with the opposite of this to create your affirmation. An example of this could be, “I don’t want to feel the stress related to my work.” The affirmation will become, “I know God gives me everything I require, no matter what challenges I face or what happens around me, I am at peace.”

Use positivity and the present tense when phrasing your affirmations. Once you can easily identify your affirmation or affirmations, post them somewhere which allows you to see them often. Some suggestions could be the mirror in your bathroom, on your laptop or computer, your planner, or even your journal. Repeat these affirmations a minimum of three times a day, and turn to them when you’re feeling particularly challenged. Eventually your affirmations will be memorized, and turning to them in times of need will come automatically to you.

A fantastic way to initiate this process is to choose daily affirmations designed to be embraced, as well as bring you a sense of happiness and well-being. Once you find the ball is rolling well, take time to consider tracking your affirmations beside the resulting changes in your life. This will enable you to evaluate other areas of your life which may require this same process, as you benefit from their practice in your life now.
