I have read many books based on the laws of attraction, especially those pertaining to money. The first, many years ago, was MoneyLove by Jerry Gillies. I kept this by my bedside and read and reread it, believing wholeheartedly in its premise. Since then I have devoured similar books by Canfield, Gawain, Chopra and Hicks. All of them, I believe, made sense and spoke the truth. And, as evidenced by my full, happy and rich life, I did learn much about the laws of attraction, which I continue to practice. However, in the area of money, I must have missed something along the way, because there continues to be a lack of enough to give me the security I would like.

So, imagine my surprise when I was attracted to Patricia Sheehy’s book, “Dancing Under a Full Moon” and discovered that not only are the rituals, affirmations and magic easy and tenable, they are also FUN. I am absolutely entranced with the scope and richness of all the way to attract money into your life and intend to pursue many of the suggestions that Patricia has provided, AND enjoy the process. What a nice gift to myself.

After looking through Patricia Sheehy’s new book, “Dancing Under the Full Moon”, I think the green candle makers will be seeing more money coming their way. When you read the book you’ll understand why, along with so many other traditions and rituals that people do to attract money into their lives. There are some nice things to do for yourself and your home, so drop the doubt and give one or all of them a try, just for the fun of it.

I don’t much believe in rituals or superstitions, but I found myself reading this book and truly believeing that some of the ideas I might try. One of the ideas was to declutter and as I was decluttering, I “found” money in pockets of jackets I had not worn in ages. Ok, now I know this sounds ridiculous, but before going to the casino I sprinkled ground cinnamon on my wallet and I won $200.00!!!! Maybe a coincidence, but this book has so many ways to attact money, I thought, why not give some a try. What a great gift for someone – this book is an easy read and you can go back and reread for those special things you might like to try. I am waiting for the next full moon so I can go “dancing”.

Patricia Sheehy has brought together a wide-ranging and fascinating collection of rituals for attracting money. Although much has been written about the Law of Attraction, this book gives you different things to try than affirmations and positive thinking. It’s the kind of book you can pick up anytime and read in any order. I bought a copy recently to use as a house gift for people we stayed with and it was a big hit, good for a few laughs and some serious consideration. Even those who are not inclined to believe in magical thinking will find the suggestions a compelling study of human rituals. Although I’m not particularly superstitious, I found myself thinking: what could it hurt to put a jade plant in that auspicious feng shui spot?

I met the author at a booksigning recently and was impressed with the research she put into this book, packed with authentic information, great ideas, and rituals that really do work. It’s written in a warm, acessible style and nicely designed. And it’s priced right, especially in this economy. You can actually afford to buy more than one!! I bought several copies and gave two away immediately to friends who were downsized from their corporate jobs. Both of them love Dancing Under the Full Moon and one has already done several of the rituals. They apparently worked because she received some unexpected cash within days. It was only a small amount, but it was like found money. With 101 ideas in this book, there’s something for everyone. It’s the kind of book, you want to sit around and read with others and talk about the various rituals and magic spells as you try and decide which ones you will do. I definitely recommend it.
